One of the things I enjoy most about Argentina is the fresh produce. I’ve only been here four days but I’ve been to the grocery store three times. Fresh fruits and vegetables galore. My roomies and I have been walking all around town capitalizing on the fresh produce and the lack of a vehicles. It’s been an awesome.
Today during a (LOooOOoooNG) welcome lunch with UADE we had a wonderful first course of tomatoes with bits sliced cheese (we think it was gruyere, oil & vinegar and salt. It was so yummy, that we immediately decided to replicate it for dinner.
Of course we had to add our own pizzazz but whatevs, it was delish. Sliced tomatoes mixed with basil, two types of sliced cheese (gruyere and parmesan), avocado, oil and vinegar and salt; with both red wine and spumate champagne to spritz our palettes (and grapes for dessert) does a lovely evening make.
Add good, side splitting conversation for a lovely fresh evening.
